Scrappy Session with Molly Gebrian
What Musicians Can Learn About Practicing from Current Brain Research
What actually helps practice stick?
Join Molly Gebrian for a 90 minute live Scrappy Session exploring what current brain research can teach us about more effective practice.
Molly will share practical insights from neuroscience and music learning that can help teachers better understand how students learn, remember, and improve. We will look at strategies including spaced practice, interleaving, mental practice, breaks, and other ways to make practice more efficient and meaningful.
This is not just about helping students practice more. It is about helping them practice more effectively.
You will leave with practical ideas you can immediately bring into your teaching and share with your students.
There will also be time for live Q and A with Molly, so bring your questions.
